Vital Voices Series 2021-2022


The Vital Voices Series is a call for the celebration of BIPOC artists. Each month, this series will highlight the work of one BIPOC artist, where audiences have the opportunity to engage in critical conversations, cultivate active learning, and celebrate the incredible work being stewarded by BIPOC artists in our community.

Gwendolyn Lanier is a visual artist based in Lowell, who creates sublime portraits depicting the divine female experience and form through narratives that challenge the preconceived notions of reality.
