
Visualize Lowell’s Black History
We are thrilled to be partnering with DIY Lowell on “Visualize Lowell’s Black History.” A community project with a goal of revitalizing the downtown community while showcasing the under-told narratives of Black stories in Lowell. This project is funded through a Commonwealth Places grant from MassDevelopment.
In partnership with local Black community members, we are excited to develop public art pieces such as history trail signs, an art walks, and a socially distant theater pieces inspired by the impact of Black history in Lowell, MA. To learn more, go to visitdtl.com
Call for Artists!
We are looking for Actors, Designers/Visual Artists (skilled graphic designers, painters, photographers, illustrators), and a Sculptor/3D Artist to bring to life stories and/or images of Black history in Lowell, MA.
